On Tuesday, May 15 at 7 p.m. ET, young-adult authors MAGGIE STIEFVATER (the Shiver trilogy, The Scorpio Races) and LUCY CHRISTOPHER (Stolen) will join the thousands of young readers and writers on Figment.com for an exciting live group chat. In this event, co-sponsored with This Is Teen, Maggie and Lucy will discuss that most essential element of any story or novel: the voices of its characters. What makes a character’s voice believable? How do you channel a voice that’s totally different from your own? How can a young writer develop an ear for voice?
